An assistant football coach was arrested Thursday in Brevard County.
The Brevard County Sheriff's office said Viera High School assistant football coach Kevin Verpaele was arrested after he was accused of having sexually explicit cellphone conversations with a girl under the age of 18.
Investigators are not saying if that girl is a student at Viera High.
Verpaele is in the Brevard County Jail.
There was a meeting at Viera High School for parents to discuss the arrest.
