The Home Depot has a great FREE program for kids on the first Saturday of each month. ?It's a woodworking workshop for kids and kids make their own project using hammers, nails, wood glue, sandpaper, etc. ?My boys loved this and I was so impressed with the program. ?Each month the kids make a different project that they get to take home. ?Each child also gets their own orange Home Depot apron and pin. ?For August, the project was a bulletin board. ?My kids assembled the bulletin board themselves, hammered in the nails, added the hooks, and painted it all by themselves. ?You can call your local Home Depot to find out more information. ?This is a great program for kids and it really is frugal family fun! ?Here are some pictures of their experience:
